Ingredients of Recipe of Sabudana Khichdi

  • 250 gram sabudana medium size
  • 150 grams raw peanuts
  • 2 teaspoon potato medium size
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 4 chilies
  • black salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup coriander leaves

Preparation for Recipe of Sabudana Khichdi

  1. Collect the material given in the photo.



  2. First of all, clean the Sabudana and wash it. Put sabudana in bowl to sock water in whole night. It should be kept for 3 to 4 hours. The ratio of sabudana and water is ¼.

  3. Peel and wash potatoes and cut them into small pieces.

  4. Clean the peanuts and put the pan on the gas and add peanuts. Roast it on medium heat for5-8 minutes. Remove the peanuts in the plate when they turn dark brown.

  5. When the peanuts cool down, grind them finely in a grinder.

  6. Finely chop the green leaves.

Sabudana Khichdi Recipe Step by Step

  1. When the Sabudana absorbed water, we'll put the pan on the gas. Add ghee to it.



  2. When the ghee gets hot, first of all, put curry leaves in it, then add cumin seeds, then add green chilies, then add potatoes. Then after that, cover the potatoes with a lead.



  3. Keep the gas on medium heat. We will keep stirring the potatoes time to time. When the potato is cooked, add sabudana into it. The sabudana will be cook in for 7-10 minutes and stir it time to time.



  4. When the sabudana is cooked, add peanuts and salt as per taste.



  5. Squeeze the lemon in it. Then mix it well with the lead and cook it for 5 minutes. Now your sabudana khichdi is ready. Now garnish it with coriander.
